Jack Dances to Ice Ice Baby

Here is a little dance video of Jack rocking out to Ice Ice Baby. He has some signature moves that he needs to work on...but we're getting there.

Have a great weekend!

Hitchin' a Ride

Josie wants to do whatever Jack is doing…which honestly, can be dangerous. The other day she wanted to ride "shot gun" in his truck. He obliged.

You see…it's cool - when you're three, to drive your sister around in your "monster f%*$" (as Jack calls it). However, fast forward 13 years and he'll be singing a different tune. I know from experience.

Dear Sixteen-year-old Jack,
Your sister will tell on you for speeding and being reckless. She will annoy you about driving her places so she can meet up with her friends (who you will probably think are cute, but would never admit to her). She won't help you pay for gas. She will ride "shot gun" and do her best to embarrass you in front of your friends (who she will probably think are cute, and won't be shy about sharing with you).

I know you think she is annoying, as your 14 year old little sister…but when you were 3 - you proudly drove her around the block in your PowerWheel "Monster F&%$".

Love,
Your Mom
(who is paying your sister to report back on your driving)

Mall Rats

Jack and Molly met at Oakland Mall on Monday morning for some playtime.  Jack refused to stay in the Kid's Play section - because there were cars and trucks to play in.  Fortunately for me, he didn't care for them when they moved - which saved me a boatload in quarters.

The first of three time-outs for the day.  I believe it is safe to say that my son has entered the "Terrible Twos."  Pair that with a very pregnant, very tired Mommy - and it's NOT good. My patience is thin and he knows all the right buttons to push.
We decided to let the kiddos take a ride on the Halloween Train before we left.  Jack is ALL about Choo-Choos - so I figured he would LOVE it.
 Here they come....
Jack hated it.  But Molly seemed to enjoy it... Two laps around the track and I told the conductor to stop.  Did I feel bad that I was snapping pictures and laughing? {Mom of the Year!} Not at all.  Be prepared for a similar situation when Jack meets Santa. I'm sorry, but it's funny. And these are the things we will tell his future wife.

Sydney-Roo is TWO!

Yesterday was a special day in our neighborhood. Sydney turned TWO! Jack celebrated with her at "school" and then was her birthday dinner date at Bagger Dave's. There was coloring, a choo-choo, and a toddler dance party! After dinner we stopped by her house for a birthday cupcake (or two)...but bedtime crept up and Jack as on the brink of meltdown. No one likes to ruin a pretty girl's birthday - so we left early. But it was a fun celebration!
She blew the candle out all by herself!
Dear 16 year old Jack -
Remember when you hijacked Sydney's pink car? No? Well, I do. And I have the pictures to prove it.
Taking a spin on Syd's pink car. As you can see - the Birthday Girl wasn't pleased with him.  Fortunately, this pink car was NOT a birthday gift. Otherwise, there may have been less "stink-eye" and more "right hook!" Don't mess with her, son...her Daddy's a cop!

Jack's Book Review

I would say he was a fan of this book: The Science of Success.  You can get your own copy HERE.

Fine Print: If you become really successful after reading this book, please remember who suggested it. College in 2028 isn't paying for itself, people....
