Yesterday we walked downtown Royal Oak to enjoy the Arts, Beats, and Eats Festival that started Friday and ended last night. There were A LOT of people walking around! I read that 360,000 people attended! Sure, it is frustrating to hear music playing until 11pm...or have people walking up and down our (normally) quiet street...but, in the end, this festival brings A TON of business to our little town and that is good news for homeowners, like us.
