Welcome back to the life of a stay-at-home-mom. Jack and I are enjoying breakfast & coffee (me, not him) together this morning. Yesterday was my official last day...although I still have Conferences on Thursday. I'm happy I did it. I'm happy to be done with it. I don't think I'll ever do another long-term. I'm ready for my own classroom (I've been saying that for 3 years) and if it doesn't work out - I'm ready to look at other options. Maybe it's time to dust off that good ol' DePauw education and find something outside of education. We'll see what the future holds...
Today it holds: breakfast with Jack, a (long-overdue) pediatrician appointment, and then stuff around the house.
