Last week the kids had their first dentist appointments. {bad parent alert} Except we DO take oral health seriously...and they both got TWO big thumbs up for their brushing efforts. Jack was super brave! He showed Josie what to do...and how to look cool while getting your teeth cleaned. He also got x-rays and a fluoride treatment!
Josie let the hygienist count her teeth, then agreed to have her teeth cleaned so they could "sparkle like a princess." (oh man) Afterward they both got cool new toothbrushes, special toothpaste, and a prize. Jack even told me he had fun! So I think their first visit was a success!
Congratulations on another milestone in your kids' lives, Kady! It’s good to know that all your efforts bore fruit in the end, leaving them with healthy teeth during their first dental appointment. I hope you’ll be able to maintain those as the years pass. And keep on bringing them to the dentist! Thanks for sharing! :)
