There is a very good chance the Easter Bunny has filed a police report on Jack. It's official: he's a bunny stalker. We were invited to Pine Valley CC for Easter Brunch with the entire Becker clan (minus a few in NY and a couple in ID). As we walked in we saw the Easter Bunny outside. I braced myself for a fearful kid...he'll surely scream and not want anything to do with the creepy Easter Bunny. Wrong. Completely wrong.
It was love at first sight. Jack gave him a high-five and the Bunny gave Jack a candy-filled egg. Game on. In Jack's mind, that was his Easter Bunny. He literally stalked the poor rabbit throughout our entire brunch. Aside from a few minutes to eat some waffles, he was on a mission: FIND.THE.BUNNY. He enlisted the help of anyone willing to walk him around the clubhouse (mainly his Grandpa & Grandma Becker). And upon seeing the Bunny he would run & jump in his arms. Reunited! I'm sure in his own made up version of toddler yiddish he was saying, "Bunny, did you miss me as much as I missed you??"Before we left we got one last moment with Jack's beloved Easter Bunny. After this picture was taken, he left kicking & screaming & completely distraught that he was being separated from his best friend, the Easter Bunny. And then entire drive home, he held my iPhone and stared at this picture. And he said, "bunny, bunny, bunny..." (over & over) all the way home. I'm a bit worried about next Christmas. Santa, beware!
