Kady has started to figure out the best way to get through her contractions. They are not nice by any means but more manageable. We learned one breathing technique during our at home training and it is getting Kady through nicely. Tracy Chapman is now playing on the Blackberry to further calm Kady, the good old head massager has made an appearance as well!

ReplyDeleteWhile all of this was occurring inside the birthing room the grandparents were downstairs at the designer hospital drinking Starbucks coffee and shopping in the darling gift shop that was dedicated to baby stuff! Grandmas Shirley and Nancy each purchased items and had them monogrammed with your name, Jack...we were certainly glad your parents decided to stick with the name! Of course I am posting this on your 1 week birthday after the fact. I should add that around 2 pm your Dad texted Shirley to say that your mom was pushing you out...we rushed upstairs to the waiting room there and after two more hours we got the call you had arrived! An hour later we actually got to see you for the first time. Instant love at first sight! Love, Grandma Nancy
